The family is the main unit of society. The future is defined from the family, whether it is a society with values or not. All over the world the family is under attack. Traditionally the family structure is being broken down through divorce, the number of marriages is decreasing and parents are neglecting their God-given responsibilities. Roles are being switched and children are growing up without emotional stability and security.
Is there an answer?
Yes! God who is family is the answer! YWAM Monte das Águias, through the Family Ministerial School, believes that the Word of God holds the key to a functional and healthy family life. The Family Ministerial School aims to mobilize restored and transformed families through the healing of broken and wounded relationships and thus equip them with practical skills regarding relationships, marriage, mothering and parenting and living based on biblical principles.
What is the Family Ministerial School?
The FMS was developed for those who feel a call from God in their lives to help family life as God designed it. This school will provide biblical and practical training to minister to each family member and eventually other families. It is also the primary vehicle for multiplying ministries to families nationally and internationally. Restoring, equipping, and mobilizing people in a biblical view of God’s fundamental principles of family relationships and their relevance to personal life and society today.
