YWAM CURITIBA MONTE DAS ÁGUIAS
After the beginning of the movement in Brazil in 1975 in Contagem-MG, YWAM has not stopped growing and currently has 56 missionary training bases in all regions of the country. Among them is Jocum Monte das Águias, located in Almirante Tamandaré, metropolitan region of Curitiba, capital of Paraná, founded in 2005.
Our base is located at Rodovia dos Minérios and has an area of approximately 100 thousand square meters of nature preserved with native trees such as the Araucaria pine, and a large space to make possible the growth of the physical structure that already includes 235 full time staff and hundreds of students per year temporarily hosted for training in the different courses that we offer.
The coexistence of people from different places in Brazil and the world, and with missionary experiences in countries like Russia, the United States, China, England, Mongolia and others, does not stop a very familiar rhythm. Transculturality is an important element in our commitment to each other and to the person of Jesus.
Our vision is to present Jesus Christ to this generation and a real possibility of relationship with Him, mobilizing as many people as possible to fulfill the task:
“Train and equip Christians for the fulfillment of the great Commission”
